This is a not-so-hidden gem!

Was it a special occasion?

No! JRS is just a favorite place to eat! (Pictures are from two different trips to JRS.)

What did we eat?

Every time we've been, we shared a steamed seafood platter. It contains everything from steamed shrimp to Snow Crab, Dungeness Crab, King Crab, and Lobster. They also offer fresh fish options, pasta dishes, and steaks, but I haven’t ventured beyond the steamed seafood platters because they are Just That Good!

What did we drink?

Martini and water.

How was the service?

The service is always exceptional. On a couple of occasions, our waiter offered to help us peel. We gladly accepted because, well, why not? He threw on some gloves, and started peeling through our "throw away" bucket. There was so much meat (accidentally) being wasted!

Any surprises?

The first time the waiter, who looks a lot like Elvis, offered to help us peel, I was taken aback. I had never had that type of offer, and was very surprised. He was super attentive to all of our needs. He, like so many other employees, have worked there for a very long time, so I am not exaggerating when I say the service is next level!

I avoid using pictures that include other restaurant-goers, but luckily no one was behind my youngest son (a.k.a. baby boy). He is the real "foodie" in the family, and he was about to feast on a shared platter. I have never seen another human consume so much food!
