Weeding

God is the gardener of my life. And He weeds it with purpose.
Can’t seem to find time to connect with a friend? He’s weeding.
Feeling left out or excluded? He’s weeding.
Missed out on an opportunity I was sure was meant for me? He’s weeding.
His hands are steady and sure. His work is always intentional.
I wasn't always this accepting, and there are times when I feel a pang of sadness — who wouldn’t? It’s hard to let go, even when the letting go is done for us. But deep down, I know: His pruning clears the way for something better. Something more beautiful. More fruitful. More aligned with His plan for me.
He knows what I need, even when I don’t. He knows what and who belong in my garden—and what and who I shouldn't be near.
I’ve learned to trust His hands in the soil of my life. Because where He weeds, He also plants. And what He plants grows strong, flourishing when I leave it to His care.
What's been removed from or planted in your garden lately?
