Double Rainbows!
Not AI generated. These two rainbows practically knocked on my door!

While in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, I woke up to a double rainbow WITH their ends in clear view!

Years ago, I foolishly tried to follow a “close” rainbow to its end but was unsuccessful. (Newsflash: Like Las Vegas hotels, rainbows are not as “close” as they appear.)

Yet there it was — a once-in-a-lifetime, magical moment on display for me for only a few precious seconds. No car chases, or effort was required. I opened the balcony door and stepped outside, and there they were. I was in awe and immediately felt overwhelmed with gratitude. I didn’t deserve such beauty, yet I was again on the receiving end of God’s Grace. It’s as though He said, “You’ve always wanted to see a rainbow’s end, well here’s a twofer. Now stop placing limits on what I can do.”

Sure, I know many will accurately point out that there’s a scientific explanation for rainbows and suggest that I shouldn’t be awestruck by them. I assure you, I’ve read about that. However, rainbows will always be spectacularly magnificent because I have also read about them in Genesis 9:12-17 (below).

I founded Go To The Grass to share moments of God’s Divine Presence in our daily lives and encourage people to spend time in nature, away from distractions and all the concrete and modern life noise. His Presence and that Still Small Voice are much more easily seen and heard in nature. This particular moment was exceptional in that I didn’t have to seek; I just had to be open to being found.

What are your awe-inspiring moments?
